Tails 'n Trails - Walk your Master, Saturday May 24, 2008
Walk Your Master is a dog walk from Craven's Park to the dog park along Fish Creek Trail.  The distance, one way is 1.2 miles.  So if you walk both ways - you've done a 4K!

Registration starts at 7 AM at the pavillion in Craven's Park.  The walk starts at 8 AM.  You will register your dogs.  Registration is a $25 donation for the first dog and $7 for the second.

After expenses, the money will go for some much requested enhancements to the dog park such as more benches or lighting.

All registering dogs will get a 'Walk Your Master' bandana.

The Grand Opening Ceremony will start at 9 AM at the dogpark.  Right
now, the plans are to put the tent in the grassy area between the dog-gates and the shelter construction.  This way, if your dog will do better going into the offleash area rather than sitting politely at your side on-leash, then you and your dog can still be at the ceremony... more
